Skyline Gymnastics Center, Ltd opened its
doors in September of 1986. Since then the size of the gym has expanded from
about 4000 square feet to over 9000 square feet. The equipment has changed, but
the purpose has stayed the same. Skyline’s mission is to build a strong mind and
a healthy body through the challenge of gymnastics. We are a member of the
United States of America Gymnastics Association (USAG) and the United States
Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs (USAIGC). We have designed a safe
and effective progressive gymnastics program using their guidelines.
Our years of experience have shown that gymnastics improves school skills such
as listening, focusing, following instruction, and completing tasks. Gymnastics
builds character through perseverance in learning skills, team work, and
cooperation with teammates. We have not only seen our gymnasts receive gymnastic
college scholarships, but also academic college scholarships as well! Gymnastics
is unique from other sports because it develops the whole body for both boys and
girls. Learning gymnastics skills requires a combination of strength,
flexibility, coordination, body awareness, and balance. Gymnastics has proven to
be a great stepping stone for many other sports because of the overall fitness
that is achieved at all levels.
The entire staff of Skyline thanks you for visiting our website and would like
to invite you to visit our gym. We will do our best to see that your child's
activity here is a positive learning experience for everyone.
