Owners: Linda Holden & TC Goodwin

Skyline Gymnastics Center, Ltd. is owned and operated by Linda Holden and Theresa Goodwin (TC). Skyline was established in 1986 and has been growing at its current location for 22 years. Skyline is constantly improving and maintaining our equipment and facility to ensure the complete safety of your child. Our staff receives education and training through clinics, mentors, technical publications, and clear communications with the leading professionals in the medical field.

As owners, Linda and TC take an active role in the day to day operations of Skyline. On any given day you will find them teaching preschool, boys and girls classes, assisting the team program, attending the competitive cheerleading practices, talking with parents in the lobby, working at the desk, and greeting everyone as they enter the gym. TC and Linda make themselves available as often as possible to help in any way possible to make each and every student’s time at Skyline a positive experience.

TC is a USAG certified judge for levels four through ten. She is also a USAIGC judge and has judged for the Special Olympics. This experience and expertise makes her a valuable asset to our competitive team program. As the team girls work to perfect their skills and routines, TC is there to shed insight as to what judges are looking for at competitions and assess their progress. In addition to judging, TC has been teaching preschool and classes for over 30 years. Her love for the sport and desire for each child to feel successful is evident in all aspects of her leadership as an owner.

Linda also has over 30 years of gymnastics experience. You will find her enjoying teaching preschool class, progressive classes or the gym mini team. Her educational background in business contributes to the success of the program. Linda splits her time between teaching and running the business in the office. She is the Head Coach of the USAIGC Competitive Team at Skyline. Linda has a passion for children and is not only concerned with building strong gymnasts, but uses this business as a way to impact the lives of young children, build character, and instill a strong sense of work ethic.

Competitive Team Head Coaches:
Our team program is headed by Gabby Ganescu. Here at Skyline we consider Gabby a valuable asset to our team program. Gabby has been coaching at Skyline for over ten years. Her expertise reaches beyond experience. Gabby double majored in Physical Education and Gymnastics Coaching at the Romania University of Physical Education and Sports. She furthered her education in the United States receiving her master’s degree in Physical Education from Washington University. Gabby has been a large factor in shaping our team program into the success it is today. Under her leadership Skyline has won many league championships, invitational competitions, and state titles.

Mel Hoffman is another key member of our competitive coaching staff. She brings with her a strong background in dance along with great technical knowledge on all the events. Mel is an excellent spotter and very detail oriented. She also instills a great work ethic in the girls that can be seen especially in her conditioning time with them!

Dave Karichko has been a member of the Skyline staff for over 15 years. He coaches the Level 3 and 4 USAG gymnastics teams and also coaches the USAIGC teams. In addition to teams, Dave works with our higher level class programs and our cheer tumble classes. When not coaching, Dave maintains and checks the equipment daily to be sure things are in great shape and safe for gymnastics.
