Cheer Tumbling Classes

These 1-hour classes will focus on teaching the gymnastic tumbling skills used in cheerleading. Skyline uses safe and effective progressions to develop these skills. We have a spring floor, Tumbl Trak, air mat, and trampoline along with barrels, wedges and back handspring trainers to make learning safe and fun. Not a cheerleader but want to tumble, this class is great for you too!

Classes are divided into levels and age groups to maximize learning. If you are not sure where to place your child, please call Skyline at 717-845-3047 before registering.

Beginner Cheer is for girls who want to learn cartwheels, handstands, back bends and kick overs. Round offs and skills over the barrel are taught in this level along with basic jump technique.

Intermediate Cheer is for girls with solid basics who are ready to go on to Back handspring progressions and walkovers. Round offs will be perfected in this level and jumps will be put in combinations!

Advanced Cheer is for our handspringers! Girls will work on front and back handsprings, round off back handsprings and on up the progression to higher-level passes and flips! The Sky is the Limit for this level!

2011-2012 Schedule

Are you getting ready for a competition and looking for a 40x40 spring floor to practice your routine? You've found that indoor facility for your cheer squad! Our facility features a 40x40 SPRING Floor, Tumbl Trak (20 feet), Air Mat (20 feet), CD/Stereo and Trampoline available to rent on any Sunday.

$60.00 for one hour with a maximum of twelve cheerleaders; $5.00 for each additional cheerleader
If you would like, we will also provide a tumbling coach and spotter for an additional $25.00 per hour.

We realize that the back handspring is needed now more than ever to make a squad in cheerleading! Skyline will provide an instructor(s) to help your group of cheerleaders to get that challenging skill.

$10.00 per Cheerleader (8 or more per clinic)
